Oldham Acquisition
As part of GMPTE’s accelerated park and ride programme, we negotiated the purchase of the B&Q retail warehouse in Oldham town centre.

Ultimately, this 30,000 sq.ft. building, with associated 120 car parking spaces, will be redeveloped to provide a major, free at point of use, Park and Ride facility.

In the shorter term, until it is required, we are on behalf of GMPTE, seeking an occupier.

Rent Review Success
We have, on behalf of Bolton MBC, been successful in securing a rent increase on review of premises in Bolton town centre in spite of the prevailing market conditions, both in terms of the economy, nationally and locally.

The rent review was referred to an Independent Expert and following representations, the review was determined in our client's favour.

Breathing New Life into Redundant Station Buildings
We have, on behalf of GMPTE, been marketing former ticket office buildings which are surplus to the requirements of the Metrolink Operator and have been in demand for retail uses, having regard to their proximity to Metrolink and the high footfall which that generates.
